Jason is a self-taught artist who has been creating art since childhood. Taking inspiration from the POP ART movement, advertising, road trips, racing, comic books, sci-fi, music, movies, and more, he designs then makes bold, colorful art that can't really be catagorized, yet has been called folky, rustic, retro, Americana, modern, junk, and yes... even POP!
Hand-Made Christmas Event
The River District Merchants and Arts for ACT Gallery want to make Downtown Fort Myers (Florida) the place to be for the Christmas Season. On Saturday, November 29th, and the following Saturday, December 6th from 11am to 6pm stroll First Street, starting at Monroe and extending down a few blocks, and peruse the different Hand-Made offerings from local Artists including: Painters, Potters, Whittlers, Weavers, Jewelry Makers, and more. They will be creating some of their art on site for buyers to see. Get something Hand-Made this year for those special people on your Holiday list or even for yourself. (You’ve been good this year right?) With the “Big-Box” stores selling the same old things, made in Foreign factories, why not give your local Artists a try and “stimulate” the economy.
