New digs, New Year
Finally made the move North, though not as far North as I would’ve liked. Me and the Family are in Mickey Mouse’s backyard in Kissimmee. (Yes, still in Florida, but the mountains will still be there for a while, right?) We have pretty much settled in and really like the close-knit community here, with several things to do and see. (Besides the theme parks actually.) I’ve done the...

It's been a little while, where have you been?
Season’s Greetings from the Monkey. Glad the Holidays are finally here and the weathers gotten good. It’s the MOST wonderful time of the year, right? Well I’ve just been SO busy making art and getting ready for the upcoming Winter season. The Internet is a GREAT thing, as I’ve had a pretty busy past few months creating different pieces for people and places all over the...

A couple of new pieces and my recent show
Hey everybody, it’s your old pal … The Recycled Monkey. Greetings from SUNNY Florida, and I must say if you don’t believe in Global Warming, just spend some time down here now. Most places up North have some real nice temps during the day and chilly at night, while we have it in the 90’s, and it’s not even that humid yet! I remember a time in my youth when it would...

Where's the Monkey been lately?
I know it’s been a couple of months since my last entry, but all is well. I have just been creating art, hangin with family and friends, and just got back a little while ago from North Carolina. (By the way if you have never been … GO! Very beautiful and very artist friendly. Am considering moving up there in the future.)
I have a show coming up on Friday, May 1st at the Butterfly...

My Wife and I have been meditating for awhile, and she is into Yoga as well, so what better symbol to focus on and reflect your peace and tranquility, than the Om. I have these available in Dark Brown Stain, Ancient Blue (pictured, and the one we have hanging in our home), Ancient Green, and a Weathered Red color. They are approximately 12” X 12” and are $35 including shipping. I can...

Hand-made Christmas Show Part : Deaux
Well, I had another great show last Saturday in beautiful Downtown Fort Myers. I met a lot more cool people, and this time I had business cards to hand out. The weather was perfect, and everyone was in good spirits. I would have to say this time it seemed there were a lot more dogs. I saw at least a dozen or more, some dressed in their Holiday finest. Pretty funny stuff. All in all, a nice time...

Hand-Made Christmas Show
Hope everyone is having a GREAT Holiday Season so far. I know I am, and judging by the turnout yesterday, I have to say that it seems a lot of people are in good spirits and are helping to support their local artists. The weather was PERFECT and most people were really interested in the whole “hand-made” thing. I met some really cool artists including Jan (She was spinning her own yarn...
